Soraya picked up a camera when she was 14 years old, and hasn’t stopped shooting since. Shortly after learning to shoot with hefty water-housing in the ocean, Soraya was selected as emerging talent by the prestigious Follow the Light organization, and featured as a spotlight photographer by Fuel TV. Her imagery has been published several times, including The Sun, Emocean, ArtShare LA, The Inertia, Outside Magazine, and more. Most recently, she’s produced a series for a California surf book that will be published in late 2023.
